in the workshop sessions, the aim was to expand our skills and get to know the workshop. we were briefed on the machinery that we can use and how to use them. this we then used to make a few objects such as boxes and wire frames

This is an example of the first object we made in one of our first sessions in the workshop. we were firstly briefed on the band saw, 2 types of sanders and the nail guns.

we were given the pieces to cut out using the bandsaw and then finished off the pieces using both the wheel and bobbin sander.

we then assembled the pieces together using the nail gun. which turned out to be a very quick and effective way to join pieces together.
