Modelmaking

Model making is a crucial component withing the film industry as well as in the course. To have good skills and knowledge in modelmaking is essential. that was the aim of these sessions.

We created our own brick wall by cutting out different-sized bricks out of thick mount board and the smaller-sized bricks out of thinner paper. We then stuck them onto a template that mimicked the different styles of brick works.

Creating our own door and window was quite a fun little project. We started with a template which included three layers for the Rame and 2 for the door itself. Once we had cut them out of the mount board and stuck each layer together. We then coated the entire thing in PVA glue. This creates a good surface for painting, but it also keeps everything together.
