SketchUp
SketchUp is a 3D modelling software that we use to create digital 3D models of our designs. in the sessions we were given, we were briefed on all of the functions and tools in Sketchup. We also tried these out, creating a few obscure shapes and objects.

This is the first model that we made in the first session. the aim of this session was to familiarise ourselves to the basic tools e.g. rectangle tool and push/pull tool.
we were then given the exact measurements of the theatre in waverly and then proceeded to create a model of it.
this was a great way to get used to the functions and tools of SketchUp.

this is the same model that we created in the first session. this time we played around with the textures and other features used for creating materials and textures.
We also experimented with copy and paste, which in SketchUp is a bit different to any other software, as you can select how many times you want to copy and paste. this is great for creating lots of the same object, for instance chairs for a theatre.
