Dreamland
This dreamland project was a fun one from the start. The brief was that we would have to design a child's bedroom and a 'Dreamland' for which his parents have told the kid stories and transports himself off as he falls asleep. This project is mainly based on the character of the kid and what kind of dreams he has.
With this project, we also have the opportunity to try out a few new deign methods, such as digital visual and storyboarding, for the first time.

Childs Bedroom

These are the visuals that I created digitally using Photoshop and Watcom tablets. this is a very effective way to create visuals with a particular style. the only issue is that, just like Photoshop, it can take a while to get used to as you have to learn where all the tools are and what they do.

Dreamland
This is the design of the dream part of the project. my idea of the dream world is highrise buildings and a slight dystopian vibe to the place.

On reflection of this project. It was undoubtedly a fun and creative project to complete. I found the amount of creative freedom that we were allowed much more interesting, as I was able to pursue more extreme and dynamic ideas.
Because of how time-consuming the project was, as there were multiple spaces to design, I felt that I could of create a few more sketches and visuals to aid the idea of my designs. this problem would be resolved with a little more time and a better-planned work schedule
overall, as much as I could have done more for this project; I really enjoyed this one over others purely on the creative freedom that we were allowed.
